Items that won’t be accepted:

• We will NOT accept: Soiled, torn, broken, or unusable items.
• We will NOT accept: Large entertainment centers, large armoires, encyclopedias, magazines, car seats, mattresses, Christmas trees, loose floral items, window blinds, or old electronic items (e.g. pre- 2015 televisions and laptops).

Please make sure:

• Clothing items are in gently used condition or better
• Items with detachable cords, pieces, etc., are in baggies and attached to the main item
• Sheets, blankets, bedspreads, curtains, etc., are marked with appropriate size
• Sheet sets are bagged together and marked
• Items are separated by category, i.e., housewares, linens, clothes, etc.
• Clothes are brought on hangers if appropriate
• Any electronic items must be probably functional upon dropoff

In the past, Ascension has offered furniture and large item pick up. This being Youth Ministry’s first year running the program and with limited bandwidth, we are unable to offer this as a service.
