Sign up to cook chicken or bring salad! We prepare fried chicken and salad and serve lunch to the 400 homeless/needy people  for no charge at St. Mary’s Food Kitchen the 2nd Friday of every month. Help is needed with preparing and serving the food.We serve with Holy Spirit .  We have a set menu of fried chicken, salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, bread and desserts.  If you wish to help, Ascension Parishioners are asked to bring fully cooked fried chicken (preferably leg quarters), or a green garden salad, prepared without dressing. Click here to sign up to bring chicken or salad Pans are available in the Gathering Area the weekend prior to the 2nd Friday serving.  If food donations are insuffient, food is purchased by the Parish Social Concerns ministry. Drop off any food that you prepared in the hallway of the St. John room before 8:30am on Friday.
