Acknowledgement of Youth Guidelines Any adults working with youth under the age of 18 ought to be Virtus trained whether or not they are in a leadership position. Contact William O’Leary for Virtus training information.If there is an overnight retreat involving young people under the age of 18, there needs to be a ratio of no less than one adult to every seven young people (1:7). Chaperones for such retreats need to be at least 21 years of age.
