We are Expanding!
Our hearts are filled with gratitude and joy in announcing that Ascension Catholic Preschool is expanding its program! Since we began six years ago, we have been blessed to walk together with our students on their faith journeys, especially during these formative years. Our students’ faith and trust has taught us volumes on how to live each day with pure joy and surrender. Our goal is to help your children love learning, but most of all we want our students to recognize that they are beautiful children of God and little saints in the making.
The 2023-2024 school year will be a year of exciting growth and change for our program. Please see below for details around new opportunities and changes to our offerings and process.
- We are excited to share that we will be offering a full day (M-F) Pre-K program (4-year-old) beginning in the fall of 2023.
- Ascension Preschool will continue to offer M/W/F AM and PM Pre-K (4-year-old) sessions, along with T/TH AM and PM Preschool (3-year-old) sessions.
- Due to our expanding offerings, the process for enrollment completion and class assignments will be adjusted. Families must first complete a survey of their scheduling needs, indicating two preferences for schedule.
- When making class assignments, we will not only consider the order in which enrollment forms are submitted, but also the specific circumstances of families and class makeup. This includes striving for an even number of boys and girls in the classes as well as accommodating students who take naps. It is still important that enrollment paperwork is submitted in a timely manner as we strive to have classroom assignments available to all families by mid February.
What happens next?
January 23: Enrollment for current ACS preschool families begins.
January 25: Enrollment for current ACS families begins.
January 27: Enrollment for Ascension parishioners begins.
January 29: All interested families are welcome to come tour the preschool and school during our open house, 1:00-2:00PM.
January 30: Enrollment for the general public begins.
