What are Ascension's parish boundaries?
Church of the Ascension’s boundaries:
On the North: From W. 119th Street and S. Pflumm Road, east along W. 119th Street to Blue Valley Parkway.
On the East: From W. 119th Street and Blue Valley Parkway, south along Blue Valley Parkway to U.S. 69 Hwy., then south to W. 167th Street.
On the South: From U.S. 69 Hwy. and W. 167th Street, west along W. 167th Street to S. Quivira Road.
On the West: From W. 167th Street and S. Quivira Road, north along S. Quivira Road to W. 135th Street, then west along W. 135th Street to S. Pflumm Road, then north along S. Pflumm Road to W. 119th Street.
Can I watch Mass online?
While we hope to see you in person, the answer is Yes! Church of the Ascension livestreams all of its Masses.
Do you have a nursery during Mass?
Yes! Church of the Ascension has a nursery for walking children ages 1-4 years old during the 8:15am and 10am Sunday Masses.
Drop off times

10am Mass 9:45am – 10:05am
We're engaged! Can we get married here?
Congratulations! Church of the Ascension is a beautiful church to have your wedding and celebrate the sacrament of marriage. Please complete this marriage prep form and we’ll get back to you.
We want our child baptised. Can we do that at Ascension?
Baptism class is offered monthly & required for new parents. Class and forms must be completed prior to selecting the baptism date.

Where's the EMHC schedule?
EMHCs serve Holy Eucharist to people during Mass, at facilities and hospitals, and those who are homebound.
Does Ascension have a moms group?
Yes! Mothers of Young Children, commonly referred to as MOYC, is a vibrant group of moms with children in second grade and younger. Find more information here.
Does Ascension have a dads group?
Yes! The Ascension Dads Group is getting started with their first event on April 23, 2026 at 8pm. Open to dads with school-aged children and younger. Find more information here.
What is the Holy Week and Easter Schedule?
HOLY WEEK & EASTER 2026
This year Holy Week starts on Palm Sunday, March 29. Church of the Ascension has Mass on
Saturday, March 28 at 4:30pm
Sunday, March 29 at 8:15am, 10am, 11:45am, and 5pm
Holy Thursday 7pm
Good Friday Tre Ore 12pm-3pm (come when you can, leave when you must)
Good Friday Liturgies 3pm & 7pm with
Easter Sunday Masses
Saturday Vigil, April 4 at 8pm
Sunday, April 5 at 8am, 10am, & 12pm
