Second grade students in School of Religion and Ascension Catholic School prepare for the celebration of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Students should have attended religion class in first grade in order to receive these sacraments. Parents and students are expected to take a very active part in their preparation for both sacraments. All requirements will be explained at two mandatory parent meetings. Contact the Parish Office for more information.
Students in 3rd though 8th grade who have not received Reconciliation for the first time will prepare separately in addition to their attendance at SOR classes in their grade levels. Parents of any school age child who has not been baptized should contact the SOR office for information. Parish Communal Services are held during Advent and Lent.
