»Parish Ministries

In order to survive both spiritually and financially, a parish needs direction from concerned parishioners. Many people have pooled their respective talents and resources to form highly effective ministries. Without these individuals, our parish could not run smoothly or move forward with our many spiritual and financial needs.

The Ministry of Care has just started a NEW INITIATIVE:

Church of the Ascension will be hosting meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon Groups beginning on Sunday, April 18, and weekly thereafter.  AA will be from 1-2pm, and Al-Anon will be from 4-5pm.  Both groups will meet in the Adult Community Room (Lower level, SW corner).  If you think you may have a problem with alcohol, plesae join us at the AA Meeting.  Al-Anon Meetings are open to anyone who's life has been affected by a loved one or a friend who is an addict.  Further info:  Al-Anon:  Bill-685-9186//  AA:  Neil-681-5024 or Jean in the parish office.
